Synopsis:
Her mother is seriously ill. Her job is tiring and stressful. There is darkness within her, a craving for pain and raw, hard sex. The mysterious Club Phoenix offers Kelly Mitchell all these things.

OMG this was SOOOOO good. I'm sure there was a lesson in there somewhere, but I was too engrossed in the story to try and figure it out. I LOVED the dual ending...you choose the path Kelly should take! Of course, first I chose the one I think she should choose, then I have to read the other!
I love Tara Crescent's writing. It's always such an easy entertaining read...and by easy I mean her writing flows so smoothly, it's effortless to read. Her word choice resonates...
~I seek refuge in the other world I live in. A shadowy world. One with the dank brick walls of a dimly lit dungeon, the muffled clanking of rusty chains and the drip of a leaking tap in the corner. A world in which strange men use me for their pleasure, indifferent to my own desires.
This was a short and extremely erotic BDSM based read. The prologue starts right out amazingly well written and the humiliation, degradation, and a healthy dose of voyeurism follow throughout the entirety of the book, so if that's a turn off for you, then you may want to give this one a pass.
~I could pick the men in leather masks that would whip me and hurt me, debase me and humiliate me. I could drown in the depths in the Watcher's green eyes when he looked at me.
I loved Miles and how he treated Kelly!
In my opinion this story was the perfect length for this type of story. Just enough to be extremely enjoyable, but not so long that it rambles or so short that you're left disappointed.
I have to rate this one a couple different ways...
5 Stars overall and a gazillion in the sexy as fuck category!
