Just a Number was the first book I've read by Fifi Flowers. It tells the story, through dual POV, of Willow and Dash. Two strangers who both follow the same philosophy: No strings, no love, no details, nothing but fun. Dash is a yoga guru, Willow is a hard as nails executive. Total opposites who match up perfectly.
Just a Number was an enjoyable read for the most part. I liked the characters and their development. I definitely don't read a lot of books where the main male character is a yoga instructor. The premise was interesting for sure. I just felt that too much time was spent focused on details that don't further the storyline instead of expanding on some of the very best parts of the book. I like what Fifi was trying to do, I just feel the execution could have been better. For me, it took me a bit to get into the story, it didn't really grab me from the beginning. I don't have as much time in my schedule to read as I used to, so personally, I need attention grabbers. I give it 3 1/2 stars.
