Rachel's Review~

Grit was another great read by JC Valentine.  She's kinda shaken things up and joined the MC genre, of which I'm not necessarily a fan, but this wasn't over the top MC.  It was more contemp erotic and I was ecstatic about that.

It was really well written, flowed wonderfully, full of great characters and I love the fact that it's another series..yet doesn't end on a cliffhanger.

Aside from a few name issues (in the unedited arc I read Gabby's name kept coming up Gabby Mahone instead of Morgan) there were no mishaps.  Loved the plot, the storyline, the sexy...the fact that even though it's MC it's not gun running, drug running, crazy gun fights..it's a riding club....they are good boys (for the most part).  LOL

Blake Mahone is awesome.  What a great guy. Who would think that behind the leather and all the cussing lays the huge heart of a cuddly teddy bear.  He knows what he wants and he's gonna make sure that he's sly enough to get it...even if he has to work around Gabby's mind.  What he doesn't know though is Gabby's secret past...the one she has hidden away so tightly her folks don't even know.
While Gabby and Blake's story is great...I can't wait for Tuck's.  Country, an ex special forces hottie, I'm sure will be my favorite character in this series.  There's just something about him...

Can't wait for the next in the series...And how JC resolves the revolving issue of the rival MC.
