I absolutely LOVE James Halloran. I just had to get that out of the way, LOL.
This was a wonderfully written, exciting, sexy story of forbidden love.
James and Carrigan have a sketchy past...kidnapping, stealing, death threats and the best sex either can remember.
Katee Robert spins a story so exciting that you seem to miss hours from your day. Once you start reading you don't want to stop. The words flow together so smoothly. The characters are so well developed you feel as though you're living vicariously through them. The story line is exciting, suspenseful and your on the edge of your seat as Carrigan tries to decide which man she'll choose from her fathers list and what said man has up his sleeve.
James Halloran has decisions to make and a brother that's wants his position as leader of the family...there's backstabbing, flesh peddling, and murderous mayhem amongst the mafioso of Boston and it's outskirts.
I can't wait for Cillian's story up next!
Yes, this is a series, and yes they should be read in order...or you might miss something and we all know it's not fun to miss something in a series!
I highly recommend The O'Malley series for anyone that loves sexy, exciting stories.
