We all know Jade West can write some fantastic Dirty, Bad (ass) books... But now, she'll shake you up and write a soul shaking true love romance...YES! I said a true love romance. And she does a bang up job of it too.
Her characters and their feelings will bring you to your knees. (haha not in thaaat way...but probably, yeah...) Her writing comes from some place deep, some place that's special for her and yet we get the benefit. We get the most beautiful, heartwarming romance. Mr Roberts (and yes, I love that she calls him Mr Roberts all the time) is an art teacher. Yep, one of those creative people. And we all know that creative people "feel" differently than less creative people. It's in their DNA, it's how their brain connects to what they see and feel that allows them to create.
His star pupil Helen is 18. Getting ready to take her exams and move on to University...
She met Mr Roberts when she was twelve and she's had an absolute pisser of a crush on him ever since....it's ruled her life...really. It's what she's all about, aside from painting...and any one that's had a huuuuge crush can agree...

In reality Helen is an "old soul". So much more grown up than her years would lead you to believe. Even though she is single mindedly going afte+r Mr. Roberts.
Student-Teacher Taboo...yeah, we know it goes that way...he teaches her SOOOO Dirty...and she revels in it. She's found her true calling and her heart's one desire. But...
The secondary characters, well, really it's mostly just Lizzie, brings so much to the story line. She's such an important part...and so well developed.
You expect this story to go in certain ways...and it does to a point, but it takes such huge turns at times...like with Lizzie...something you expect, yet something a little different too.
Jade West did a remarkable job to make me see beyond the dirty..beyond the sex..and see the whole picture that is true love. Freaking Amazing.
