“About?” I mutter too quickly…too transparently.

This was Such a fun series! I love it when SE Hall and Angela Graham get together. Filthy Foreign Exchange MUST be read prior to book 2...it's simply a MUST.
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE ANTICIPATION, BABY!!!
Now we have Echo all graduated and taking a hold on her life. Kingston's father was gracious enough to offer her a spot in the annual backpacking trip across Europe that's held in memory of the Mrs. Echo's hoping that she can make it all the way through without seeing Kingston...since he STILL hasn't done anything but send her flowers...not to mention she's not sure what she really believes when down that fateful night.
I have LOVED these characters. I know...I usually go for the smut-tastic reads...but every now and then it's great to read a story that's more about the anticipation! And that is exactly what this series has been. It's been a whirlwind somewhat taboo romance between a boy (more like a man) from England coming over as an exchange student for Echo's brother. He's been living in her brother's room and basically taking over that role. So, he's like Echo's brother or a trusted friend...
These two characters are great. And I'm not much of a young adult reader...I typically steer away from the high school and college age reads, they seem to be too wishy washy for me...but even though Echo is wishy washy from time to time in book 1 she REALLY steps it up and begins to act like an adult in 2! Kingston is acting like the man he's becoming and tries to care for Echo, give her the vacation of a lifetime, guide her in the direction he wants her to go all while trying to make her fall hopelessly in love! It really is all about the anticipation....and it's done so well. The writing is fabulous, duh...like THAT wasn't expected! The story line is unique, fun and engaging. I adored this easy to read series.
