Keeping London by Ellie Wade is the second book in the series. I couldn't wait to read what came next for London and Loic as a couple and I would have ever predicted this! With another cliff hanger type ending, I will patiently wait for the next book and I desperately need to know what is next for the couple. This book was a 3.5 star read for me and I recommend this fantastic series to others.
As London continues to grow as a person who is not solely focused on materialistic things and making her own path in life, Loic continues to grow in their relationship, something that he hasn't had with a women, in the romantic sense since losing Sarah all those years ago.
Knowing that he will be deployed soon, London and Loic try to make the best of the 2 weeks that they have left before they spend s year apart with only letters, email and occasional skype to keep them connected. For the first time Loic has someone to miss back home, someone to stay alive for, someone to get back to and he asks his best friend Cooper how he gets through the days and months without missing Maggie like crazy. Coopers advice is solid and Loic tries it himself.
Everything seems to be going well for this unlikely pair, with their own version of 20 questions allowing them to learn so much more about each other. And then the unthinkable happens and Loic shuts down completely leaving London in the dark as to what is going through his mind and what can she do to help him through.
I NEED to know what comes next for these two! I know you will too once you get sucked in to their amazing relationship!
