Review: Infinite Possibilities ~ The Secret Life of Amy Benson book 2 ~ by Lisa Renee Jones
synopsis~
Secrets and lies. They are everywhere: haunting her, tormenting her. In the midst of it all, he’d been her escape, her passion. The only person she’d trusted in six years. And then he’d made her doubt that trust, cutting her deeply. But as she’d once told him, she was damaged, not broken. She is ready to fight and not just for survival. She is fighting for the truth and she won’t stop until she has it, not even for…him.
Rachel's Review ~
Raw and honest. That is
the review I will leave for the ARC of Infinite Possibilities by Lisa
Renee Jones, book 2 of the Secret Life of Amy Benson series. If you
haven't read Escaping Realities...STOP and read it first.
Run
to me, not from me...I am continually running to books by Lisa Renee
Jones, and once again, I am NOT disappointed. Right from the beginnig,
this book is constantly moving, dragging you into the life of Amy and
Liam...ahhh Liam who is "sex and sin and the temptation I can never say
no to."
The
characters, their personalities, their Godzillas and sharks, they just
pull me in...the story never stopped, never lagged, and I never had to
reread any of it to understand and become one with Infinite
Possibilities. With more flashbacks come more characters and a better
understanding of Amy's character and the decisions she's made. Once
again there is the slightly erotic steamy aspect of Liam and Amy's
relationship, so have no fear that because it is a fast paced novel that
it lacks the steaminess that most of us expect...it delivers there.
"heat swirls low in my belly and I can almost feel myself melt for this man at his perfect answer that is pure seduction. Almost too perfect in a world where everything has been a lie. I would know. I'm the queen of lies."
As Amy travels back to where it all began, we can envision her insecurities and unravel some of her indecision...
"maybe he's my last hope. Or maybe he is my final destruction."
"maybe he's my last hope. Or maybe he is my final destruction."
Then
we get to the epilogue and once again I find myself silently screaming
NOOOOOOO, it can't be over yet...you haven't finished! and I am
standing at the edge of enlightenment and I see the flame of knowledge
flicker briefly before snuffing out...ughhh...another cliffhanger...It
will leave you at the edge of your seat...patiently (or impatiently)
awaiting Forsaken!
So without a doubt I give Infinite Possibilities The Secret Life of Amy Benson book 2....
