Rachel's Review of Book 2 Kitchen Scandals~
Warning: Please read Kitchen Affairs prior to Kitchen Scandals...you'll have missed entirely too much to just jump right in!
And the drama continues...why oh why can't Drake and Molly be left to love in peace? what secrets are they harboring even though they continue to tell each other how much they're loved?
I really enjoyed Molly and Drake and all the drama in Kitchen Scandals. It was so entertaining and easy to read... I easily lost myself for a couple of hours at a time..then I'd have to get up and act like a responsible parent and feed my family.
The media releases a HUGE bomb that Molly was most definitely not aware of...can Drake make her understand? And Molly...what the hell? I never saw that coming...will Drake still accept her once he finds out? or will he be too devastated?
Aside from all the exciting drama this book is cooking up a main dish of steamy!
~My arms went went to the sides of his t-shirt and clenched in a fist s I pulled him closer into me. his hand gripped me tighter, making the kiss more intense. My breathing quickened in between each movement as he sucked, licked, and deliciously devoured the inside of my mouth.
Heat rose in between my thighs as the intensity grew harder. The urge to need and want him made it impossible to think rationally. Part of me wanted to slap him across the face for making me love him so much, but the other part wanted to rip his clothes off until they laid in a f'ed up pile on the floor.
"I'm sorry," he whispered, leaning his forehead against mine. "But I just had to taste those lips one more time incase you never let me have them again."
In book 1, Kitchen Affairs, I kinda liked Travis and was glad to see him back in Scandals, sniff...sniff..who'd a thought!.
I really liked the additional characters actually introduced in Scandals and can't wait for Kitchen Promises to finish baking and be set on the table waiting to be devoured! I NEED to know how it comes together! Thanks Brooke Cumberland for cooking up another winner!

Rachel's Review of Kitchen Promises~
I was lucky enough to read this as a beta after devouring Kitchen Affairs and Kitchen Scandals. The drama in Molly and Drakes lives is like a pasta facial...necessary but not necessarily desired. Poor Molly, hugely preggers with twins, and not supposed to be stressed out, is living a life full of Love , Lust and Drama! Her past just won't let up...Spying Denny in her home at her engagement party pushes her over the edge. Will Denny spill her secret and ruin her and Drake? Well, to prevent spoilers, you'll have to read Kitchen Promises for yourself. With that said, I LOVED the nursery scene, Oh My Goodness, it was so sweet! I love the way Brooke does her dual POV's.. Honestly I like Drakes the best! Oh wait, until the end, then it's all about my favorite character, Michael! I wanted to do a little happy dance :) I really enjoyed each book individually and the Kitchen Promises was such a fitting end to the Riverside family. Thank you Brooke Cumberland for bringing such a wonderful "family" into my home.
