His instructions begin in the hotel room.
“Do you have a garter belt?”
“No. But I do have silk stockings that stay up without a garter. Do you want me to wear those?”
He nods. “And your black stilettos, please.”
It’s not until we get in the taxi that he makes his next request. Once he gives the driver an address, he leans in to whisper in my ear. “Take off your panties.”
I am sitting in the taxi in New York City with Ian Blackmon. The Ian Blackmon of Wall Street, Forbes and People magazine renown. Before our chance encounter, I’d never heard of him. Now I see his name and likeness everywhere I look. Before our encounter, I’d never even dreamed of meeting a man like him. Now I share intimate moments with him. Before our encounter, I’d never been tied up and ravished.
Now I am… frequently.
My name is Ella Strong. Welcome to my brand-new world.

Rachel's 4 Star Review

Ian sounds really HOT and there is some great sex, and a vengeful ex girlfriend so yeah, definitely worthy of 4 stars.
Ian meets Ella, and when she calls him Sir, it's the beginning of a beautiful D/s (almost) relationship.  Ella is still a virgin and gives it up willingly to Ian.  Next date, he decides to show her into his "playroom",  She's a little apprehensive but willing to give it a go.  All goes well until he's in a pissy mood, really wanting to dominate and decides Ella's ready for the St. Andrews Cross and a whipping.  She hates it.  When Ian is done he takes her to bed, cares for her, and she leaves in the morning. Literally, leaves the country. She's finished with that shit.  She stays away for a year, decides to write a book, 3  1/2 weeks, about her relationship with Ian, and gives it to her friends for Christmas.  Cute, quirky, cheap gift.  Backfire...they start letting others read it, it goes viral on the internet, and soon Ella has it published and they are making it into a movie.  Oh, and yeah, Ian had her sign a non-disclosure statement.  Go figure...
Ian meets his sister for lunch on day and guess what's on her kindle?  yep, Ella's book...Ian gets his lawyer to file suit against Ella for breach of contract, really just because he wants her back, and she comes back to the states from the UK to meet with her lawyer and Ians lawyer.  She ends up meeting with Ian and ends up starting up an affair again.
It get pretty hot, and it's been mostly about sex so far, so it's nice and hot...

~"Your mouth can lie, Ella, but your body betrays you every time.  You're very wet."  He thrusts a finger inside.  "Are you sure you're not excited by the idea of being taken from behind?  Picture it, Ella.  Your ass high in the air, your wrists cuffed at the small of your back and me firmly behind you, not allowing you to retreat, thrusting, filling, wakening all those dark sensations."  He laughs when she clenches tightly around his finger.  "Told you so," he whispers, kissing the base of her spine as his hands continue to make her body rev up.

My only complaint with this novel is that there are SOOOO many things going on...almost too many plots.  You have Ella's work partner Lucian, Ian's vengeful ex girlfriend Alexis, her uncles who happen to be the father and uncle of Ella's partner Lucian...Ian's company problems,  Ian's grandfathers accident...mostly it all intertwines, but then the author goes on to what happens to Alexis in the end, the uncles, Lucian and the Butlers...it just keeps going on and on..almost as if she could have done a complete second book to finish the story and go on with the others...  So be warned, in some places the story seems to mimic the energizer bunny.  It keeps going and going and going...

Excerpt

Excerpt #1

“You know, it’s said that offering one’s throat to another, an alpha specifically, is the sign of ultimate submission, Ariel. It’s the most vulnerable position in which to be. I can wrap my hand around almost the entire perimeter of your lily-white throat.” His big hand follows his words and his thumb presses down ever so gently on my windpipe but releases it instantly.
Slightly shaking his head as he gazed upon me, he murmured, “A woman who can send an artist running for his brush. Just your slender, elegant neck alone is inspiration enough.” As he admired each part of me verbally, he paid homage to it physically. I knew there was a distinct possibility that I might reach a climax long before we joined together.

Excerpt #2

Nevertheless I keep it up. When I feel him get even harder than he was already, I stop and wait a few moments. Then I start up again. While I’m rubbing him, I kiss his throat, lick his ear, suck his earlobe, and finally bite his neck—hard. As soon as he feels my teeth sink into his flesh, his eyelids flutter closed for a brief moment, and then he grabs my hand, roughly leading me out of the club and right into a waiting taxi. I can’t help but smile.
After giving the driver the address of the hotel, he leans back and looks at me. Seeing my triumphant grin, he merely raises a brow. “Battle conceded, war still up for grabs,” he says as his hand goes back up my dress.
