Local bar owner Cali Tate has always been trendy, easy-going, and impulsive. She isn't afraid to take chances, but her carefree attitude may have put her restaurant in jeopardy. Wanting to escape the demons of his recent past, he moved to Steeple, taking a sabbatical from his teaching job to write a book. He wasn't prepared for the spunky, persistent bar owner to invade his life. But the more she pushes, the more intrigued he becomes.
Neither one of them expected to find any common ground, much less fall in love. What happens when an OCD professor collides with a risk-taking woman who won't take 'no' for an answer?

Great summertime beach read!
Cali is the strong independent type. She doesn't need anything...until she comes across Dr. Carter Stavros...Tall, dark, muscular, the sexiest man she'd ever seen. She couldn't help but gawk at the Greek-like god with his olive colored skin and black hair...YUMMM
Dr. Stavros is dark, not only in looks, but mood also..."Your trespassing. I should call the sheriff." were his exact words the first time they met. Cali figured him for a pompous ass...But she couldn't get him out of her head, so she bet's her girlfriends she can get to the complicated man.
She makes herself available and they become kinda friends, a lot of sexual innuendos and tension, but Carter begins to live again. Things come together and the strong, independent Cali NEEDS to submit to his mastery. Are they in it for the long haul? Can she help him conquer his demons, or does she hold him back from becoming all he can be? Will they discover love and keep it, or let it go?
This is a quick read, hot in some spots, and an all around good read. I personally enjoyed some of Ella Jades other books more.

Ella Jade has been writing for as long as she can remember. As a child, she often had a notebook and pen with her, and now as an adult, the laptop is never far. The plots and dialogue have always played out in her head, but she never knew what to do with them. That all changed when she discovered the eBook industry. She started penning novels at a rapid pace and now she can't be stopped.
