Blog Tour, Review Her Journey by Rachael Orman
He’s exactly what she doesn’t need…
He’s exactly what she shouldn’t want…
He’s exactly what she should stay away from…
But she can't.
He’s exactly what she shouldn’t want…
He’s exactly what she should stay away from…
But she can't.After losing her mother, Melia knew her life would never be the same, she just didn’t expect it to be so drastically different. Her mother’s final wish was something that not only changed her life but also the way she lives it. And it put her right in front of a man that angers her as much as he excites her.
Patrick ‘Wrench’ Ryan is president of the Tormented Souls Motorcycle Club. He’s strong, tough, and his word is law, but his sister knows how to get the upper hand with him. So, when she showed up with Melia and told him she’s staying in the club house, it didn’t take much to get him to relent. He tried to play nice, but Melia gets under his skin.
Things change when the club’s biggest foe escalates their rivalry in an attempt to bring the Tormented Souls President to his knees. It’s up to Patrick to protect his sister and the things most important to her. Will he be able to keep everyone safe? Will Melia get caught in the crossfire? Or will it all be for nothing in the end?
I love MC books and Her Journey did not disappoint. If you haven’t read it what are you waiting on. Get it now! This book is full of drama, action, arrogant men, and mouthy women. It will keep you entertained not wanted to stop until the end while at the same time have you saying what the fuck all through the book. The story was fast paced and had you living in the characters head.
In order to get the full understanding of this story you have to read Her Ride. Her Ride is the story of Ryan and Dirty. This book lives up to its name because it will take you on the ride of your life. Her Journey may be about Patrick and Melia, but it’s also continuous to Her Ride. Melia she made a deal to become Ryan and Ellis’s surrogate after meeting them at the hospital and watching them become quick friends with her mother. She picked up her life and move closer to Ryan knowing that she can take her career anyway. Shortly after move she is introduced to Patrick aka Wrench Ryan’s brother. Patrick is a sexy, foul mouth, arrogant, egotistical jackass. Being the President of the MC he pretty much can have any woman he want. He doesn’t do relationships. He think women are good for only one thing and that’s sexually pleasure and release. Melia has one problem this man she see as and asshole and who she had plenty of heated arguments with makes her blood boil and not in a bad way. Melia is strongly attracted to Wrench and hate herself for it. Patrick soon realizes he is starting to have feelings as well, but thinks he can fuck her out of his system. All he needs is one night and he will be over her. Hmmm is that possible not.
I love how this book intertwines the character from the Her Ride. This book is full of love and passion. It’s nothing like reading about Alpha men and Her Journey is full of those. The characters were one big happy family and I loved it. I gave these book 4 big sexy stars!
Wrench Quote
She might need a good fucking to calm her ass down, but not from my boys. A frail little thing like her would break in two seconds. She couldn't handle a real man giving it to her. One day she'd spout off to the wrong person and they'd show her to keep her mouth in check.
“Seriously. At least stop fucking when you answer the phone.” Ryan’s disgusted voice floated over the line. I rolled my eyes even though she couldn’t see me.
“What, did you finally realize I was looking for you?” I rested my head against the back of the couch. The woman had no idea what the fuck she was doing with my cock. I would not be getting off unless she changed what she was doing. From the feel of it, it was possible she’d never sucked cock before. Trying to listen to Ryan but also get some pleasure out of the whore, I fisted my hand in her hair and attempted to show her a rhythm that felt better than what she was doing.
“Yes, I did. Sorry, Master. I didn’t realize I needed to report in immediately,” Ryan sarcastically replied. “I just got time to return your call. We’re pregnant and it’s twins. I hope they are both girls so they can drive their uncle even more crazy than he already is.”
It was easy to tell she was trying not to sound as happy and excited as she truly was. Always hiding behind her tough exterior. “Well, congrats on the brats. When am I going to meet this woman who is carrying the babes?”
“Never, if I have anything to say about it,” Ryan answered immediately.
2. I've been married for 9 years in October. I'll also be 29 in October. I got married on my 20th birthday
3. I was a cancer survivor for 10 years in July.
4. I'm a former United States Marine.
5. I met my husband while in the hospital getting chemo. He was there for shattering his skull.
6. I have two little girls... I wish for a little boy, but no more babies for me.
7. I prefer Coke to Pepsi, but 7UP to Sprite. Dr. Pepper rules all... Unless McDonald's Coke is included.
8. I read as much as, if not more, than I write. I read almost any genre... except historical anything. But my husband is a huge history buff.
9. I hate feet. All of them. There is absolutely nothing sexy about feet to me, ever. Not even baby feet, but I have been known to tickle any foot I come near because my house is filled with incredibly ticklish feet.
10. I have a nine year old Chihuahua. She follows me around everywhere. She sleeps next to my computer or snuggled up to me at night in bed, but she is always called my husband's dog for some reason.
I stood, letting my eyes trail up from a pair of dress shoes to a pair of finely tailored pants, up to a suit jacket, only to end at a breath taking face with brilliant blue eyes. Even with a face and eyes like that I would’ve had more choice words to say to him, but there were very large, very scary looking men on either side of him. An impatient look crossed his face as he slipped his phone back into his pants pocket.
“Me? You’re the idiot kneeling in the middle of a busy sidewalk,” suit man said in a deep, gravelly voice.
“Whatever, asshole.” I rolled my eyes, throwing my camera in my bag, quickly zipping it up. “Don’t worry about if I’m okay or if you broke my very expensive camera. Self-centered dick.”
Being happy. It sounds so simple. Yet, it seems that it’s always just out of reach for Shannon Ryan.
After serving overseas for seven years as a female United States Marine, Ryan is finally getting out the military. But coming home to live with her biker brother and his motorcycle club is more difficult than she thought it would be. Much has changed in the years that she has been gone, including Ellis, her brother’s best friend and childhood crush.
Ellis 'Dirty' Crane is the second in command for Tormented Souls Motorcycle Club. The only thing he lives for is the club, that is until Ryan comes home, no longer the wild little girl that followed him around. The two things standing in his way of getting what he wants are Patrick, Ryan's brother and leader of the club, and Jeremiah, Ryan’s boyfriend.
Can Ellis break through Ryan’s walls? Burn them and Jeremiah down? Prove to her brother that he’s the right man for her? Or is Ryan hiding more than she’s letting on?
Stay at home mother of two with a passion for reading almost as much as writing. She is often found curled up with her Kindle reading while her children cuddle up on either side 'reading' books of their own. Married for almost ten years to the most wonderful husband and father, she couldn't ask for more out of life. Except maybe to live somewhere not quite as hot as the desert she currently lives in.

Her Journey was hot, sexy, funny...
I just adore Patrick Ryan, aka "Wrench", head of the Tormented Souls MC. He is gruff, grumpy, big, buff, and extrememly protective of those he loves, especially his sister, who has been battling cancer for a couple of years.
Melia is a photographer, adrift and alone since losing her mother to cancer.
To feel a little better, Melia is down on a knee, shooting pictures of a park when she's knocked over by a big guy, nicely dressed, but rude as hell...he's knocked her down, broken her camera and blamed her for being in the way. Asshat.
Melia's mother and Patrick's sister Ryan had become friends during their battles. As a good deed, Melia decides to be a surrogate, so Ryan and her boyfriend Ellis can have a child.
Needless to say, Melia meets Patrick (yep, the Asshat) and one thing leads to another.
Rachael Orman writes a great story. I love her characters and she writes a smokin' sex scene...so hot.
Melia's character is so easy to empathize with, you have to feel for her. Carrying a baby that's not hers, living a life she didn't really plan, and on top of that, being caught in the middle of a gang war...
I zipped right through this story, it was entertaining, easy to read, wonderfully edited and hot!
Definitely a 4.5 star read.

“What?” I growled, grabbing the back of the woman’s head when she started to pull away. Making my message clear; she wasn’t done just because I was on the phone, but to be sure, I said, “I didn’t say to fucking stop.”“Seriously. At least stop fucking when you answer the phone.” Ryan’s disgusted voice floated over the line. I rolled my eyes even though she couldn’t see me.

“FUCK!” I yelled, crawling over to my camera.
