The After Dark Series is my first foray into books by Kahlen Aymes and wow! What a series it was. But Promises After Dark, Book 3 was my favorite of the series. Why, you ask???? Well, let me tell ya, I love Alexander Avery...from the sound of his name, to his description, and now all the way to his bad ass Dominant self. I LOVE the fact that he FINALLY got tough with Angel. In the first two books, the possibility was there, it was hinted at, and then in Promises..BAM...out comes the freaking hot ass alpha! Loved it. Even Angel's character stepped up. She was a little stronger, ok, WAY stronger than she was in Confessions, and she finally realizes that she deserves the happiness she'll get with Alexander.
What a awesome culmination to a great series, that kept me reading for 5 days straight! Seriously, their story has had me enthralled for the last 5 days, much to my family's despair (lack of housekeeping, clean laundry, and appetizing meals LOL ).
I love the way things were finished with Mark Swanson, LOVED the epilogue, only wish we would have gotten a little more out of ARCHANGEL :)

I was born in the Midwestern United States and educated at a private university where I received a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Business Administration.
I've always been creative with art, music, theater and writing. I decided to write a story as a way to build a network for a business venture.
