Synopsis
One moment was all it took for my entire life to shatter.
One moment.
I had everything . . . and then, I had nothing.
When all you’re left with are the pieces of your broken heart, there’s nothing you can do, except try to rebuild. So, that’s what I did.
One moment was all it took for me to feel the first flutter of hope I’d had in a long time.
One moment.
He barrelled into my life, covered in tattoos and surrounded by an aura that enraptured me, determined to be the glue that held every broken piece of me together.
I wanted to push him away, because I was scared to lose anyone else I loved.
But, I wanted to hold him close because without him, my life was empty.

When Kasey Millstead wrote
this book she brought out your emotions from the first page to the last. Laura had the worst thing that could happen
to any mother happen to her. Which would
make anybody especially a mother go into a deep depression which is what happen
to Laura.
Trying to get over her
depression Laura moved back home to Pine Creek to get away from the everyday
nightmares. Laura knew it was time to
move forward with her life to try to find happiness. What she wasn’t expecting
was to being the owner of an amazing business and finding the love of her life
so quickly.
When Laura ran into Luke it
was love at first sight but her fear of her pass getting in the way make her
push back. She was scared to open up to
Luke thinking Luke wouldn’t want her because she was a damaged goods. What Laura didn’t know was Luke fell in love
with her at the same time she did with him.
Meeting Luke changed Laura for the better and helped her heal from her
pass. I enjoyed reading about the sexy
tatted up cowboy that showed Laura that love and dominating sex can conquer
all. I especially recommend this book if
you want to read about love and hot steamy sex.
I gave this book a hot 3.5 stars.
Thanks Kasey for writing about Luke and Laura.

Excerpt
With pain, comes blame. We blame the ones we love, we blame the one we lost, but most of all, we blame ourselves. It buries itself deep. So deep that on some days it feels like it’s in the marrow of your bones.
It destroys everything. The love you thought you had? Blame will chew it up and spit it out faster than you can blink.
It destroys everything. The love you thought you had? Blame will chew it up and spit it out faster than you can blink.
Blame is like cancer; it eats away at all the good. It consumes you and if you are not careful, it will kill you.
