I am a big Kelly Elliott fan, she was one of the first indie author I found many moon ago when I discovered indie. This is the first book in the Broken Promises Series that I have read, each book can be read as a standalone.  
 
What would you do if the love of you life went to a different school, you decide to be a bigger person and tell her to not to wait. Love will have you doing crazing thing, Liza and Walker have a whole lot of crazy love.
Taylor Elizabeth know to everyone by Liza is hard working, loving, caring and loves her family. Returning home for the summer after gradation she has decisions to make. Does she moves to Dallas and expect her current offer or stay in her home town were she has always want to live. You would think the decisions is easy...go to Dallas but when old emotion surface Liza is torn between two loves.
 
Walker has return home after graduating to start working in the family business. Ranching is in his blood and working with his farther and Layton, Liza father has been his dream. Walker is torn and is pushing down the emotion that are bubbling back up about Liza.  
What will happen at the end of the summer?
 
This was a beautiful love story of second chance and young love. You will not be able to put the book down. Each character will draw you in. You feel as if you setting in the ranch watching the scene play out as your reading.

I let my eyes travel down his body and slowly back up. Walker had put on a pair of cotton pants that barely hung onto his hips. The tight tank top he had on made his chest seem even bigger. I wanted to grab onto his muscular arms and feel them. When Walker reached down and took a hold of my shirt I sucked in a breath of air. He gently lifted it up and pulled it over my head. His eyes grew bigger as they landed on my chest. I was eternally fist pumping myself for putting on my new Victoria’s Secret bra and not a sports bra.

 

Walker lifted his hand and moved it to my chest. I could feel my breathing pick up as I felt my chest moving up and down at a rapid pace. When his finger touched my skin I let out a small gasp. I was desperate for him. Desperate for his kiss. His touch. For anything he was willing to give me.
 

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Kelly Elliott is married to a wonderful Texas cowboy who has a knack for making her laugh almost daily and supports her crazy ideas and dreams for some unknown reason...he claims it's because he loves her!

She’s also a mom to an amazing daughter who is constantly asking for something to eat while her fingers move like mad on her cell phone sending out what is sure to be another very important text message.

In her spare time she loves to sit in her small corner overlooking the Texas hill country and write.

One of her favorite things to do is go for hikes around her property with Gus....her chocolate lab and the other man in her life, and Rose, her golden retriever. When Kelly is not outside helping the hubby haul brush, move rocks or whatever fun chore he has in store for her that day, you’ll find her inside reading, writing or watching HGTV.
