to me

I think I fell in love with these books.  In volume 1 you are introduced to a sassy woman and an Alpha male if you love these types of characters you will fall in love too! This book starts with a bang and I loved every bit of it! Rebecca is a fighter, independent, and wanted that man she continued to cross paths with.  Every time I thought I knew what was going to happen didn’t. Volume 2 picks up right where volume 1 leaves off so make sure you have read volume 1 first! Rebecca started a new job working for the rude, self-centered, but extremely sexy Nicholas Stone Haven.  She has a big problem with she knows he is rude arrogant, but her panties melt and she gets hot from being in his presents.  What she doesn’t know is while she is hot and bothered so is he. There is a bigger problem he is engaged to be married.  His father think marriage is what he needs but he knows better and is trying to get his father to understand marriage isn’t for him.  Can Rebecca let go everything and let Nicholas and move on? Tristan sees what is between Nicholas and Rebecca but can he open Nicholas's eyes to the truth before it's too late? Volume 3 is the last to be book and it was such a great conclusion to Nick and Rebecca's story.  I’ve loved Rebecca personality she is so down to. She is a wonderful person.  Although her life isn’t stable as she would like it to be, she is determined to make and become the best.  She is very independent and self-sufficient.  Nick is so fascinating to me. He's got so much turmoil inside while he tries to run his father's business flawlessly and balance all of the things not right in his life. He and Rebecca have a chemistry that is hard to deny but also complicated to act upon. People think Nick is a complete jerk, but reading his POV shows a different side of him. He has a lot going on and is trying to meet his father's expectation.  Living with the guilt of his brother's absence, the emotional loss of his mother and looking after his sister.   Now add his love for Rebecca and a fiancée that he doesn’t want into the mix.  I loved seeing Nick come to terms with what he wanted in life. Once he makes that choice, he is a true fighter, especially where Rebecca is concerned. Rebecca has her own demons that prevented her from completely giving in to Nick, asides she couldn’t forget the fact that he is engaged.  They may not always been direct with each of they still shared honesty that they didn’t seem to have with Miles or Alison.  Seeing Nick so in love with Rebecca was sweet in the way that all she ever wanted was to be someone's first choice and priority, but at the same time, she didn't want him to give up everything for her because she knows how hard it can be to make such big sacrifices.  I even fall hard for Nick and I believe you will too.  I gave this series a 4 star.
