2nd and final installment

Saturday Blake has uncovered one of Mark Rich's biggest secrets. Betrayed, frightened and hurt, she tries to move on, believing that the game is over, but she is sorely mistaken. There's another player in this game...and they won't play by any rules. And Mark's not done with her yet...

Let me start with Book 1...
In book 1 we meet Saturday Blake, she works at a gallery and she's a waitress at a local bar. Hard working, comes from an affluent family that doesn't care for the fact that her daughter wants to be a part of the art world...that's just not good enough for her...so Saturday is basically estranged from her family and mostly alone, except for her bestie Kara.
She meets Mark and a whirlwind romance begins. They are constantly at odds though. Mark flits in and out of her life like it's no big deal and while he talks to her constantly about personal things, he's really telling her nothing at all, and she never goes to his place.
This book was hard for me to get in to...I think because Mark was so secretive I spent more time trying to figure him out than concentrate on what I was reading. But the ending...now there's a kicker. The ending is most definitely worth reading the story for. YIKES...
I give book one 3.5 Stars

Book 2~
I wish it would have started out stronger...you had a huge cliffy in book 1 and then I was a little let down with book two's start. A couple of pages in it picks up though and pretty soon you're wondering the exact same thing you were when you finished book Behind the Blindfold book1.
There is a lot more drama in book 2, and I'm finding I like it better than book 1. Could be because I already know how secretive and cagey Mark is, or it could be because it's just a better part of the story. Things are being resolved and I find that I can't really guess where it's going.
Wow...Book 2..waaaay better than book 1. Like seriously better...and the twist..HOLY CRAP. I did NOT see that coming...that was awesome!
Book 2 gets 4 Solid Stars.
