Em Petrova NEVER disappoints when it comes to the hot n steamy! Fevered Hearts is most definitely a panty drenching read! And OH, to be in Ivy's place...if only. I'd give just about anything to be in a logger sandwich! oh hell, I'd give just about anything to be in the middle anyways..doesn't have to be loggers...matter of fact one of em would have to be my hubs. LOL
Liam and Ward were friends, lovers and loggers until an almost accident caused Ward to kiss Liam in public. Liam freaked and took off and hasn't seen hide nor hair of Ward in YEARS.
Ward comes home due to his fathers illness and falls head over heals at first sight for Ivy, not knowing she's Liam's wife. When he asks his sister about the beautiful blonde he's told that Ivy Mattson, Liam's wife, and that Liam was in a bad accident and wheelchair bound. So being the best friend he used to be, Ward visits Liam and things start to change for the better.
Em Petrova writes wonderfully. Everything is so smooth and flowing and her sexy ass stories ALWAYS tell a story, it's not just about the smoking hot and sexy as hell sex.
I love her characters! They are always so realistic. Liam is wheelchair bound because of his accident. The doctors told him he could probably walk again if he did therapy and tried. But being the alpha male he is, he's scared of trying and failing, so better not to try at all, right? We'll see.
This story is awesome, as all of hers are, and so worthy of my 5 Stars!
