This was my first book by Roni Hall! I was in need of something a little different.
It was entertaining and a far cry from the dark bdsm stories I've been reading lately.
I had a hard time connecting with the story though. It had so many different things going on, but one at a time.
There were great aspects of the story, and the writing was well done. When there was drama or confrontation it was good. It would have been better if all of the suspense could have coalesced and entwined throughout the story instead of being separate issues. It was hard to connect with Jamie, and I can't figure out why..and if I was Kevin I would have tried to make her step up.
I'm giving this one 3.75 Stars and I'll grab her next book!
