YES! I really do enjoy CP Smith's writing..I've always thought it's the perfect mix of sweet, funny, suspenseful and sexy. AND oh boy...does Sergeant Shane Sherman do alpha in the sexiest of ways! I have this drool worthy competition to my list for sexy as hell book boyfriend!
Sergeant Sherman is "DOC" in Afghanistan...he has a newbie private under his tutelage, PFC Emma Jane Sloan, and she has no business being in the desert, that's for sure.
Once Sergeant Sherman leaves the military and returns home to Trails End Alaska he pretty much works himself into a stupor day in and day out. He can't stand the dreams and flashbacks that leave him with boatloads of guilt.
Enter one Sage Sloan, Emma Janes older sister...just one look into Shane's eyes and the counselor in her cries out for the victim inside his very soul.
Not so fast...who is really the victim here? And why is Sage in hiding? See, here's where the suspense steps in...
