When I relaxed back onto the bed, he crawled on top of me and ran his fingers around my lips. I sucked them, licking myself off him before he kissed me and shared the taste. He rested his weight on his elbows, careful not to crush me. I didn’t want careful or tentative. I wanted Sin.
“Fuck me.” I yanked on his hair for good measure as he kissed to my neck.
“Stella, I’m warning you.”
I pulled harder until he met my eyes. “Don’t warn me. Fuck me.”
He tangled a hand in my hair and pulled until I had to arch my back. “Is this what you want?”
“Yes.”
He ran his lips down my throat and bit. “This?”
“Yes.”
He thrust his hips against me. “This?”
“Yes, please.”
He stood and removed his belt, tossing it on the bed next to me. Then he freed his cock and crawled back on top of me. When his tip hit my clit, I moaned and tried to kiss him. He pulled away and grabbed his belt.
“Hands together, over your head.”
I arched an eyebrow. “No.”
“Stella.” His voice was gravel as he rested his weight on me and wrenched my hands above my head. He looped the belt around my wrist and pulled tight, then kept the slack in his hand. He kissed me hard, the way I remembered—the way I wanted.
I spread my legs as wide as possible, and he slid his tip down to my entrance.
He blinked and hesitated. “Am I hurting you?”
“Not enough,” I breathed.
“Fuck, you were made for me.”

Sovereign was the PERFECT culmination to an AMAZING series!!!
The writing is stellar..the story line is SO good, so intense and page flippingly entertaining. I binge read this 3 book series. Like seriously addictive. I went to bed with the hubs like every other night, and as soon as he started snoring I snuck (or sneaked, depending on which you prefer) back downstairs and read until 3 am. OMG...LOVE LOVE LOVED this!
Sinclair Vinemont is freaking amazing. The devilry that encompasses his character? AHHHHH...

That was book 1, Counsellor...and it stuck with me throughout the entire 3 books. It made me love and hate Sin all at the same time. Obviously love prevailing, LOL. Actually all 3 of the Vinemont brothers were awesome. Yes, even Lucious, really.
Sin and Stella are freaking amazing at the push and pull. Their relationship is explosive both in bed and out. The feelings that encompassed me as I read were heart-pounding. The last two trials..were just OMG! This really isn't for the folks who "say" they like em dark and then complain about the very things that obliterate all the light. I loved it though many won't. Cal and Sophia are heartless, crass, crude and so very cruel. Even through the hate, you realize it's a must for this awesome story.
With Sin (my fave character) absent for a lot of Sovereign, the trials that Stella had yet to complete were in the forefront of my mind. She was so strong, yet when Sin brings around another woman Stella reacted just the way you'd expect. Hurt and jealousy are great motivators. With the cute, younger brother Teddy's life in her hands, Stella does what has to be done.
The ending..OMG, it was perfectly awesome and the entirity of this series was captivating from the first word to the last.
