Ok, I so wanted to really like this. After reading I went to good reads and I was actually kind of surprised by all the 4 and 5 star reviews, wondering what I could have possibly missed that everyone else found. There are a LOT of good reviews, so maybe it's only me...Maybe even though I had a hard time enjoying this trilogy, it will hit you in the "right" way. So please, give it a try.
I personally had a hard time connecting to either of the main characters..Rhys or Sophie. And contractions people... PLEASE. I hate reading such formal sounding books, they simply put me off right from the get go.
I liked the fact there wasn't insta-love and Sophie didn't jump right into bed with Rhys and I really like the actual storyline and the sexy was really well done.
I have to rate this entire box set at 3.5 Stars though. Without connecting to the characters, with lots of excessive descriptiveness and without contractions I felt this was more about getting a higher word count than making you "Feel" the story, packing a punch and leaving you always wanting more.
