Rachel's Review~
Ok, I just finished #Everett this morning...I didn't want to let him go. LOL
I've been a Cee Smith fan from the beginning, but I think this has been my very favorite.  Everyone by now knows I have a definite "thing" for the bdsm genre.
This one had me hooked from the very first chapter...OMG so seriously erotic. And I mean the shoe tying... that, to me, said oh so much about Indigo as a person...that set the tone for what was to come.
~This wasn't the squishy, cute, write our initials on stationary kind of crush. This feeling was the kind that made people show up at doors to profess their longing.
The storyline was typical. Girl has crush on boy, devises ways to "meet", wants more of a relationship than he does...but it was so well written, the characters were just so entertaining, that I didn't want to put it down. I had to get to the next chapter, and then the next, and the next... I was addicted to the story, to Everett the same is Indy was, I had to know how it all ended.
I laughed out loud, yes...with Indy spread before Everett, on his desk, naked for the very first time and he....I laughed so hard.
I know this isn't going to be for everyone. I know just the mention of bdsm is enough to turn some off, but when it's such an important part of the book, yet it's not depicted with any vulgarity, I really think those of you on the fence would enjoy it.
I completely understood where Indy was coming from, I too, can justify some of her rash behavior.
~At every opportunity he found was to make me need him. Not want him, no. It moved beyond want a long time ago.
She knew what she wanted and she went for it...if it was career based, she would have been exulted for such actions...but because it was personal, it's tainted. Or perhaps, because it's the female, or the submissive in the relationship it's frowned upon strongly, causing more damage than good...yet ultimately...the end justifies the means.  I'm rambling.  I don't really know what to say except that I really enjoyed this story and I personally think it's my fave Cee Smith yet!
5 submissive stars
My absolute fave quote in the book~
I wasn't delusional in my pursuit of him. I was inadvertently encouraged. Empowered by Everett's inability to just fall. To take a leap. An uncalculated risk. I was willing to do something he couldn't. I took a chance on us. For us.

Author Bio

Cee Smith is a lover of the written word. Since first learning how to string a sentence together, she’s been putting pen to paper and hasn’t looked back. Though she’s no longer obsessed with blood and gore, the dark side still calls to her, often finding refuge in her current writings. Her addiction to reading is what finally inspired her to take a chance at publishing.

A California native, currently residing in North Carolina with her husband. She loves salacious stories, true love and forbidden romances—the more angst the better. Other than reading and writing, some of her other obsessions are peanut butter (don’t get her started), Michael Fassbender, and watching TV.
