Prisoner by Marni Mann is a story about loyalty and the consequences of the choices one makes at a young age and how they shape your adult life. This book is nothing like anything I have ever read and it was more than I could have imagined. If you enjoy a darker read with a bit of mind games then this is definitely the book for you!
I don't want to give away too much with my review because the anticipation while reading this unique story is what made it so much more interesting but this story will take you between the past and present of two childhood friends who at one time wanted to be more but life got in the way of allowing a romance to blossom. When they come face to face again due to an unforeseen circumstance everything comes to a head for these two and decisions have to be made that will affect everyone in their life.
