Kill Me was SO entertaining.
How often do we see a female contract killer? Not very often...and one so well done? I haven't read one til now!
Una was in an orphanage...until she was 13 and sold. Luckily or unluckily (depends on your POV) she was found by Nicholai before she was raped repeatedly and broken and eventually sold into the sex trade- instead she was broken irreparably and rebuilt into a child killer and eventually into a paid assassin...or contract killer. Because really? who expects a woman to kill your ass?
Nero, OMG, is he one fine specimen. Oh yeah...and he wants his brother killed so he can take over as Capo.
Kill Me was all about Una, Nero how they come together, change the others outlook on love and life and how they make their choices. Wonderfully well written by the talented LP Lovell, this is a little dark, a lot sexy, it's got great characters and a strong story line running throughout.
My favorite part? The Freaking UNEXPECTED cliffhanger...
I must have missed the memo that this was book 1 or I forgot that it was book 1 or I knew it was book 1 and figured it was in a series of standalones? Hell, I don't remember...all I do know is that I got to the end and said What the FUCK???? I need answers NOW!!! Omg...now I have another ending to look forward to and I've always said it's all about the anticipation!
