This story spoke to me in regards to the words that were left unsaid by the author but could be felt by the reader as she turned each page. Claire was trying to complete the bucket list of her best friend Hope who had passed away from cancer. Leaving the only one she knew to move to Boston seemed like the perfect way to live her life on her terms and do everything that Hope no longer could without being under the watchful eye of her parents.
Claire planned for everything but she didn't plan for Theo and he appears in her world one day and she fights to keep him there, falling for him a little bit each day when she should instead be letting him walk away to live his life. Theo opens up to Claire about his past and his family and wives that Claire has been reciprocating but one day finds out the biggest secret she has hidden from him.
This book will take you on a roller coaster of emotions but it is worth every gasp and tear!
