The chemistry between Pim and Elder is off the charts and completely baffling to Pim since she see's herself as nothing. Elder has put no value on her and she doesn't really know how to cope that way. Elder, who sees himself as No One, also battles a raging war. Getting in deeper by the second. He can't really escape Pim and he's so afraid his inner monster will come out to play. This story is full of so much inner dialogue that we're drawn closer and closer to the true heart that makes up each character. If, in Pennies, you thought the characterization was done, think again. In Dollars we get to the heart of the matter and the way Pepper Winters winds you through the story is simply amazing. Her words tie you up and don't let go. I can't wait for Hundreds to see what happens next. I can't seem to get enough of her writing...her words...the way she turns the plot. Just when you think you know what will happen, something else does. Just when you're sure there's that something special and it's gonna happen now...she throws you for a loop. Her words will weave their way in, string you along and then drop you....leaving you broken, waiting for more. ~I thought I was strong enough to return to the real world. I thought I wasn't broken enough that if I ever found freedom I could walk from the shadows and laugh and speak and love like any normal person would. About the Author
Pepper Winters wears many roles. Some of them include writer, reader, sometimes wife. She loves dark, taboo stories that twist with your head. The more tortured the hero, the better, and she constantly thinks up ways to break and fix her characters. Oh, and sex... her books have sex.
