We're back with Jane Doe and Edward Rochester and all thier reasons why they will never be together.
We start with Jane out in the moor right after Edward (is it wierd that I want to think this story is set in the 1800's and I should be calling him Sir Edward?) pretty much pushed her love away...and what a shove it was.
Jane has been on a mission to find love, family, friendship and herself...all those things she was denied growing up...and her quest is a long and arduous journey frought with devastating news.
Amity Cross does such a wonderful job of transporting you to another time and place...hence my comment about Sir Edward, as her writing style in this story as well as the conversation amongst characters harkens back years and years. For the most part I forget about laptops and cell phones. I expect Jane to be wearing dresses and then there's a mention of jeans and I'm brought back to the present. What a wonderful feat...to take somone back in time, especially when the story is written in the present. LOL
I've loved these characters and their fights, their trials and tribulations to meet in the middle somewhere and find love with each other. Even the secondary cast such as Alice, Blanche and Gracie Pool.
With premonitions, scares, secrets and trysts I've come to rather enjoy this story line and it's oddities.
Antoher wonderful 4 Star story in this series.
