Synopsis
Every girl has dreams of meeting Prince Charming, or at least I know I did. A fairy tale-like meeting of love at first site. Real life and fairy tales are very different. I’m just a small town Indiana girl that had a chance encounter with one of Hollywood’s golden boys. You may think you know where this story goes—not even close. Life is different. Marriage is hard. It’s even worse when you’re strangers.

Becoming Mrs. Lockwood was a story that began as a fairy tale in Sin City and became a lesson in life, love and compromise.  Weston and Wren meet at a Starbucks in Vegas while Wren is on vacation with her mother during a school break.  Weston spends the day with Wren, doing all of the tourist things that she was yearning to do but found herself instead reading a book while her mother gambled.  After a romantic dinner with the handsome Weston and a little too much champagne, the pair wake up and realize that along with not knowing each other's last name, they somehow got married the night before.

Wren cannot believe that she lost all sense and married a complete stranger and immediately wants an annulment, where Weston actually wants to try and make the marriage work.  Wren agrees when her mother pushes her to try and for the first time in eighteen years, she leaves her home state of Illinois for California.  When she finally realizes who Weston really is, she knows that this marriage will take a lot more than two strangers learning everything they can about the other while they forge a life together.  Marriage is har, when you are strangers it seems more than difficult, when you are hiding your identity from the paparazzi its downright impossible...or is it?

While Wren struggles with a new life in an unknown place without any family or her best friend married to someone famous, Weston's life seems to have changed very little if at all.  The ups and downs that this couple faces are real, and are easily relate-able despite their station in life.  While we might not all be famous, we can definitely identify with the struggles that Weston and Wren face as a couple.

This story was intriguing, had a little mystery and kept me turning each page wondering what would happen with this couple.

About the Author
K.I. Lynn is the USA Today Bestselling Author from The Bend Anthology and the Amazon Bestselling Series, Breach. She spent her life in the arts, everything from music to painting and ceramics, then to writing. Characters have always run around in her head, acting out their stories, but it wasn’t until later in life she would put them to pen. It would turn out to be the one thing she was really passionate about. Since she began posting stories online, she’s garnered acclaim for her diverse stories and hard hitting writing style. Two stories and characters are never the same, her brain moving through different ideas faster than she can write them down as it also plots its quest for world domination…or cheese. Whichever is easier to obtain… Usually it’s cheese.
