It’s the start of nothing good. I fired off a storm of raunchy text messages…to the wrong number. And he replied. Him: Show me a picture. Him: Tell me your name. Why does the lure of anonymity have me craving to indulge a stranger? It’s the start of everything right. I received a slew of text messages…when everything in my life was wrong. And she made me laugh again. Her: You’re probably a creeper. Her: Possibly a stalker. Why do I have the overwhelming need to find this stranger who saved me and make her mine? Him: Take a chance with me. Her: This is crazy. Him: I need to see you. Her: What are we doing? Him: We’re about to find out. Her: PHOTO ATTACHED Him: PHOTO ATTACHED

Text 2 Lovers was a fun, quirky little read.  Dani and Ram's relationship starting off on the wrong foot is an understatement. But where they go from there was entertaining.
While I didn't connect of care for the characters that much, it was an OK. read.
Not my favorite of K. Webster's.
And unfortunately I know right where it comes from...so maybe the review is a little biased?  It's not her dark and wonderful stuff.  I applaud her for jumping into different genre's but I'll need to read more "basic" stories from her before I won't be disappointed that they're not dark, devious and overly sexy. LOL
Even though I've gotten random texts and dm's, and let's be honest..who on facebook hasn't gotten random dm's? I thought this would be a lot more fun, flirty and fithy, so that was another preconceived notion.  Hard to overcome one, let alone two.  Added to the fact that Dani just didn't do it for me as a main character.
I'm leaving this one at 3.5 stars, and a footnote that I will continue to read K. Webster's mainstream stories...just waiting for that one to hit me right!
