Quincy and Judson are reunited when their college mentor passes away. Judson helped Quincy crawl out of a dark place of destruction when they were in college many years before and when they meet again, it is her turn to pull Judson out of the darkness that has surrounded him following his departure from the Navy Seals, a departure that was neither planned nor wanted.
While Judson navigates this new life as a civilian he struggles with the returning feelings he has had for Quincy since college. Believing that he is not enough of a man for her, he tries to stay away but Quincy has loved him for too long to let this last opportunity for them to be together to pass her by.
What follows is a beautiful story about finding your purpose in life after the rain.
