Where the Night Ends is a book about young love, sacrifice, and discovering who you are despite the obstacles that are your way. Sebastian was the most popular guy in the Senior class, star football player, could have any girl he wanted without the strings of a relationship. The outside world saw what Sebastian allowed them to see, which was a facade that he created to hide what was really going on inside. Tessa was for all purposes, a nerd who was focused on school so that she could be accepted into her dream college. While Tessa crushed on Sebastian since he moved to her school from California, she never actually spoke to him, until one night when her best friend forces her to attend a party at his house. Sparks fly between the two when they meet, but what develops between Tessa and Sebastian is something that neither of them anticipated. While the love that they have for each other is deep and unwavering, they are too young to make it work. Sebastian walks away from Tessa because he feels that is what best, breaks Tessa's heart and everyone tries to move on from this unwavering high-school love.
