Psychopath's Prey by VF Mason sucked me in and didn't let go. Did I mention I am a psychological thriller addict? When I WANT to read a book, I always choose something that makes me think, keeps me guessing, makes me change my mind every other chapter.
I was so excited to dive into this one, which is either a very good thing or a very bad thing as I usually end up disappointed that the story doesn't do the blurb justice. BUT...in this instance? I am happy to report that it exceeded my wildest dreams! I absolutely LOVED the way this author changed POV's but didn't let on to the psychopath's true identity until you were supposed to know. I waffled back and forth between characters, I was kept guessing right up until the end, only being able to rule out ONE possibility throughout the story. THAT fact alone would have made it an enjoyable read for me, but all the characters were so fascinating and the story line was so amazing.
On a side note, for all of you that shy from dark reads, I personally didn't find this dark. It is a story about a psychopathic serial killer, it's no darker than an episode of CSI. I know this is only my opinion but I LOVE dark, devious, and dastardly stories almost as much as a good thinking thriller.
I highly recommend this book if you're ready to sit down and read; read for the enjoyment of a good thriller, not a mindless good time.

About the Author:
V.F.Mason always loved reading books and had quite a few fights with her momma over the genre she liked (romance, duh!) She studied filmmaking and thought that would feed her desire for stories, but that didn’t happen. Finally, when she was tired of all those voices in her head, she sat down and wrote a book. It was a huge decision to make and she thanks her friends and family for supporting her in it. When she is not writing, she can be found with her friends doing all sorts of crazy things or reading recent romance books that were written by her favorite authors.
