Lorne was the character I couldn't wait to read about. He was in prison for the majority of the two previous books, yet still holding the family together. Raina was a different sort, and I'm still feeling her out..while she wasn't my favorite, I won't discount that she was a great addition to the series.
The way Pam Godwin weaves her tales is engaging, heart pounding, and suspenseful. You feel what the characters are going through and at the end, you swear you're a part of the family!
