Only With You by Layla Hagen was a story I dove into and couldn’t stop reading bc I had to know what would happen with between Val and Carter. Carter had me at taking care of his two nieces since the death of his sister, trying to raise them to be great girls with a good head on their shoulder but sometimes fumbling because girls can be well...girls lol. Working in his law firm by day as the lawyer who never wins and taking care of his nieces at night...Carter doesn’t have time for serious..until he meets Val who own the fragrance company across the street. Taking it slow after a chance meeting all that they both can do...with Val facing a lawsuit against her company and Cater being lawyer and father. But they make time for each other and begin a relationship that can only grow and has the reader routing for them every step of the way. I laughed out loud, teared up, and cheered for their success and the rest of the Connor family when they make an appearance throughout the story. This is definitely worth a read! You won’t regret it!
