Now widowed, she’s trying to pick up the pieces for her daughter’s sake as well as her own, but once again loneliness is her closest friend—until James’s brother comes back to town. The man she secretly wishes had asked her first.

Army ammunitions expert Kyle Nelson would rather face live fire than face the raw reminder that the woman he loved chose his brother over him, but he’s tired of running. And ready to step up to be the man everyone needs him to be—especially the young niece he’s never met.

As time runs short before Kyle ships out again, the desire Kyle and Rachel have suppressed breaks free in a fiery rush. Tempting her to reveal a secret that could give him a reason to stay—or burn their love to ash.

Erica's Review~
Rachel is the girl that’s beautiful, sweet, funny, loving, and from the wrong side of the tracks.  She became best friends with brothers James and Kyle.  Growing up they did everything together and loving them was easy, why wouldn’t it be they were inseparable.  Soon friendship wasn’t enough for James. He wanted to explore more with Rachel and they became a couple, changing things in the friendship they all shared.   James became possessive, trying make it a point to show Kyle who Rachel belonged to. Kyle was jealous because he felt like Rachel now belongs to his brother,  and Rachel being in love with James, marrying him, making a family with him, all the while realizing she is also in love with Kyle.  I’m going to keep this review short and sweet because if I go into more I would tell the whole story, something I don’t want to do.  I want you to read the book to get all the exciting details not this review.  But what I will say is that you would really enjoy this twisted but sweet love story.  I gave this story 4 lovely stars.
