In my opinion, Sugar Daddy's Baby was a somewhat convoluted story.
In the beginning I was like OH YEAH...the story of Cockaigne, what happened there, the lustful decadence. I was loving it.
Then all of a sudden I was lost. It took me chapters to figure out that this was after Marley's visit...then all of a sudden it's like flashbacks and remembering her childhood.  I personally think the actual flow of the story could have been done better making it easier to read.  The characters were relatively well represented, except for Hannah's character. We just knew of her and her lack of sexual excitement, didn't really ever meet her.  And then out of nowhere she disparages Max on one phone call and that's that.  I understand the author had to eliminate her for the story, but it was just one more thing in a relatively scattered story. I personally think she could have just eliminated her character altogether.  The authors actual words and scenes kept this story above the 2 star mark though.
She did a great job at descriptive writing, some of her sexy scenes were done well and though I didn't connect with any particular character of the story, I did finish it.  I am a particularly opinionated and busy reader. I help run this blog, I review on average 4 or more books a week, I edit, beta read and I'm a personal assistant to an author.  I do all of that on top of my "normal" daily job and raising 2 kids...so my time is precious. I review honestly and while I didn't particularly care for Sugar Daddy's Baby you just may.  You may be finding your next favorite author.
